Theme study

We have adopted a unique curriculum that incorporates the four seasons and events of Japan into the curriculum used in preschools in the United States.

Art

Art time for free expression is essential for young children, who are not bound by fixed concepts.

Using a variety of tools, including paint, glue, and scissors, students will create fun and spontaneous works of art.

Worksheet/Math

We will assess each child's age and progress, and proceed with worksheets according to each child's needs.

Even though it is called a worksheet, we start by holding the pencil correctly and drawing lines, then trace letters and numbers, and so on, building up little by little each day.

Science

Science is not a desk-based class, but rather a hands-on lesson where students will go outside to spread fallen leaves and look for insects.

Music

Through fun songs and dances, students will acquire a sense of rhythm and expression.

We sometimes create opportunities to listen to live performances of musical instruments to foster a child who can feel the wonder of music and develop an interest in it.

Phonics

Students will learn one letter of the alphabet (upper and lower case) each week.

In addition, by introducing phonics reading using phonics songs, etc. from this period, students will be able to read English naturally and effortlessly.

Kids Yoga Activity

An outside yoga instructor will be invited to teach yoga. Of course, lessons will be given in English.

The time of stillness, movement, and crisp yoga improves concentration and teaches students to control the balance between mind and body.
